Sustainability is important to us
We attach great importance to sustainability. Simon grew up on his parents' farm and has experienced and learnt to appreciate the closeness to nature from an early age. We combine the power of our unique environment with the comforts of a family business. We are not interested in going higher, further or faster.
Rather, we are concerned with the sustainable use of natural materials and resources and the preservation of traditions.
Our contributon so far
- PV system on the hotel roof, are partially energy self-sufficient
- Digital control of all heating circuits with return temperature monitoring
- Efficient control of lighting and electrical consumers, LED lighting
- Effective thermal insulation
- Regional building materials, e.g. wood from the region locally sourced wood
- Regional suppliers for living ideas & hotel furnishings
- Water-saving fittings
- Cleaning agents for hotel cleaning are environmentally friendly and biodegradable
- In-house laundry and environmentally friendly detergent
- Refills for shower gel & shampoo from the Metzler company from the Bregenzerwald
- Grander water throughout the hotel
- No minibars
- Waste avoidance is important to us, plastic is largely avoided
- Short supplier routes, regional food, regional shopping
- Food is processed into, e.g. vinegar, oils, herbal salt, jams
- Electricity charging with socket in the hotel
- Ski and hiking bus in the village with ski pass and Warth Card free of charge
- Car park or underground car park for cars - car-free holidays are possible
