If you fancy walking through five regions and two countries in one hit, the Lech Trail fits the bill perfectly. With a total length of 125 kilometres and sections of varying lengths, the Lech Trail takes you through the Arlberg area to the Tyrolean Lechtal-Reutte conservation area. En route you can enjoy a waterfall, rushing mountain streams, a spectacular pedestrian suspension bridge and the largest colony of ibex in Europe.
1st section: Formarin Lake to Lech - 14,5 km
Begin your walking day with the Hotel Walserberg‘s Good Morning breakfast. The walkers‘ bus will bring you to Lech where you can change onto the direct bus to the Formarin Lake. For this we would recommend the purchase of a Lech Card from reception, which entitles you to free travel on the buses. From here you walk the first section back to Lech.
2nd section: Lech to Warth - 10,5 km
After a relaxing evening on the terrace or in our panoramic wellness complex, you will begin the next section of your walk from Lech to Warth with renewed energy. You can return to Lech on the walkers‘ bus, which is free of charge with the Warth Card. From here you can walk back to Warth.
3rd section: Warth toSteeg - 15 km
The third section begins right on our doorstep. The Lech Trail passes through Warth, crosses a little bridge on its way to Krumbach and finally reaches Gehren. From now on you are in the province of the Tyrol. A wonderful panoramic stretch of path takes you from Lechleiten towards Steeg.
