Bakery in winter since 1964

Give us today our daily bread.

The bakery in the heart of Warth am Arlberg where you can smell the enticing aroma of fresh bread and pastries in the morning. The baker produces fresh rolls for breakfast from the hot oven daily.

In 1964 - at a time when the whole village Warth was nascent - Vinzenz Walch opened and managed the bakery as a modern business enterprise. Since 1982 Thomas Walch has been controlling the fate of the enterprise in Warth with much joy, engagement and heart's blood. The Bakery Lech, the original enterprise, can look back to an 80 years long history.    

Ever since much has changed, but one thing has outlasted centuries - the joy to bake has been handed over from generation to generation in the family Walch.

The oldest son Martin has taken over the passion for this handicraft. In 2003 he became master baker and now he successfully manages the bakery in Lech.

... with fresh bread and pastries from our bakery. From crispy soft pretzel sticks, croissants and rolls to rustic whole-grain bread. In winter we provide the whole village Warth with our rich variety of bread.

Our bread recalls wonderful holiday memories also back at home. The aroma, the crunchy crust, the taste ... immerse into your holidays in the Hotel Walserberg. You can order your bread until 05.00 pm the previous day at the reception.
