When you step into the Walch family bakery you take a step back in time, to the time when bread tasted like bread and the aroma of freshly baked bread rolls sets the taste buds tingling.
The bakery was founded in 1964 by Grandpa Vinzenz Walch and grew into a modern business during the period when Warth was an expanding village. From 1982 Thomas Walch carried on the tradition with fun and enthusiasm. A lot has developed and changed since then, but one thing remains the same until today – the joy of baking which has been carried down through the Walch family generations. Since 2003 our son Martin is now the master baker at the bakery.

... is guaranteed with freshly baked bread and pastries from our own bakery. You’ll be amazed at our crispy pretzel sticks or the natural tasting wholegrain bread. In the winter we supply the whole of Warth with an extensive selection of freshly baked bread.
A special souvenir
Take your favourite bread home with you – as a small reminder of your winter holiday in Warth you can order freshly baked bread the day before by 5.00 pm at the reception.
